Fireworks from Hoboken

I took a similar photo on an overcast day, from Pier A in Hoboken, N.J.

Downtown Manhattan, with boats lined up, awaiting the fireworks show. If you click on this photo to enlarge it, you can see the buildings turned a shimmering gold in the sunset.

Reminds me of Christmas lights.

Lens Really to the Ground

Sun setting over the Hudson River. The Yonkers waterfront has been revamped in recent years. It's worth a visit, though there's not much else to do as you drive north along Warburton Avenue.
